SDSU Alumni Association
The South Dakota State University Alumni Office has record of over 70,000 active alumni of which 26,333 have South Dakota addresses. The SDSU Alumni Association serves the University by acting as a "service center" for visitors and alumni.
The South Dakota State University Alumni Association is very active in outreach and service activities. The Association acts as an advocate for political/state/local issues, and it assists in raising money for different entities within the University.
Mission Statement
To foster a spirit of loyalty and fellowship among graduates, faculty, students, former students and friends of South Dakota State University, and to direct an organized cooperative effort for the advancement, development, achievement and honor of both South Dakota State University and its alumni.

Alumni Association Staff The South Dakota State University Alumni Association consists of five full time employees, with the addition of part time SDSU student workers. The Alumni Association staff is responsible for preparing alumni gatherings, pre-game rallies, and reunions for the 71,000+ alumni that once called SDSU home. With the help of the twenty council members, the association helps bridge the gap between the students of today with the students of the past.
