Choosing a college has never been a hard decision for the Paulson family of Garden City, so it isn’t a surprise that they will be honored as SDSU Family of the Year by the SDSU Alumni Association in cooperation with Staters for State, the student alumni organization.
Raven Industries announced today that it is awarding South Dakota State University a historic gift of $5 million for the establishment of its Precision Agriculture Facility within the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences on its main campus in Brookings, S.D.

On Friday, October 13th the SDSU Alumni Association honored the 2017 Distinguished Alumni at the 56th Annual Legends and Leaders Distinguished Alumni Awards Banquet.

John Killefer, professor and department head of animal and rangeland sciences at Oregon State University, has been named the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council endowed dean of the College of Agriculture and Biological Sciences at South Dakota State University. Killefer was selected following a national search.
